It's Been A While

Well this is embracing. I haven't blogged in 8 months. I have been so busy and I've done so many things.

In December my family went to Disneyland! It was such a fun trip, I hadn't been there in 4 years. The Parshalls came with us and it was fun to take Jason on Small World.

January, I turned 18!!! There is so much that I want to do now that I'm 18. Get my nose pierced, Go skydiving, Get a tattoo. I probably wont get a tattoo until I'm married, but that it okay!

I'm also graduating this year! May 31, 2013 at 7:00 is the day and time! I am so excited for my new chapter in life to start! I'm planning on going to Foothill Community College for two years and getting my AS in Radiology. BUT I have so much to do before that. I have March 1st for a deadline for a lot of graduation stuff like: Pictures for the slideshow and the yearbook, pictures for my photo board for graduation day,  parent thank you notes, goals and dreams typed out. All this work and I am so excited! I'm excited for both my photoshoots coming up in the next two weeks!

In July I'm hoping to be going to Romania with my church for a missions trip but I am not sure if I will be able to because I haven't turned in my application yet and I was supposed to by Thursday....Oh well/

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with this blogging thing this year.

Stickers Please!

Last summer I thought it would be an amazing idea to go up to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk security guard and ask for a sticker. Not know what would happen was pretty fun and exciting, so I went up to him and this is what happened.

Me: Hi, can I have a sticker?
Security Guard: Uhh...sure. But only if you wear it!
Me: Ok! But can I have another one that I don't have to wear?
Security Guard: Sure!

So the nice security guard gave me this awesome sticker!

I got this one August 17, 2011

Although I may have slightly freaked out a couple of my friends and family members I'm glad to say that it was so wroth it! And they still talk to me in public so it's all good!


After that successful sticker gathering I decided to try it once again at the Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival. We were leaving to go to a football game I think and I saw these two police men just standing there talking doing their oh so boring job. They were old, like early 50's maybe, and I like old people, they are mostly nice so I thought that I would be able to get a sticker from them.

Me: Hi! Can I have a sticker?
Police Man 1: Why?
Me: I am starting to collect them!
Police 2: Oh that's cool, sure you can have one!
Me: Thanks!
Police Man 2: What type of car do you drive?
Police Man 1: That way when we pull you over we can give you another sticker!
Me: I drive a little car and a big van
Police Man 2: What color?
Mom: Black car, and Gold van!
Me: Thanks mom.
Police Man 2: Well young lady drive safe and I hope to not see you again!

  So I have learned that if you ask old guys for stickers...or friends, they might just give you stickers of awesomeness!

Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is one of my favorite characters of all time. A crime solving, pipe smoking man. The books about him are wonderful, and the  TV show was awesome even though it was old.

He even wore the amazing detectives hat and trench coat every time he left the house. He was polite and sweet, but not a mushy marshmallow guy. I adored the name Sherlock Holmes.

Until....

The people came up with this guy:

They made a movie about Sherlock Holmes. Robert Downey Jr. plays Sherlock in two movies. I have nothing against Downey, trust me he's a good actor. I just have a problem with the Sherlock portrayed. A literal crime FIGHTING man, who smokes a pipe rarely and, and is not a gentlemanly as Basil Rathbone. What happened to this character I loved, and why are people so obsessed with this new guy? Is it because there is more fighting? Maybe because it's more modern? Either way I will refuse to watch Downey ruin this good character.


Then came:

ANOTHER SHERLOCK HOLMES

What does Benedict Cumberbatch have compared to Downey and Rathbone? He doesn't smoke, he is WAYYY too modern...and he's just plain annoying.


Although these new and improved Sherlock Holmes may be a cool idea if you have never read the books or seen the old TV show, I really wish they would stop making new 'types' of Sherlock. Read the book and appreciate his gentlemanly character. 

Spring!

It's spring! That means flowers and sunshine! Two wonderful things! I love spring, its awesome, not too cold and not too hot. It's the best weather to go hiking in, which reminds me I really need to go hiking!

Is That Even Possible?!

I'm sooooo happy! I finally got to 100,000 message thread on Facebook with a very amazing friend of mine.I guess it would be weird if it was some random person :P

But yay! I never thought it was possible to get that many messages on Facebook, but guess what, it is!

A lot of people think I'm crazy but that's normal.

I'll give that task a thumbs up!

When We Get Together

When Lizzy and I get together with Karis and Mary we just go crazy!

It will start with talking about really weird things

Then move onto playing piano and singing at the top of your lungs

Then end in taking tons of weird pictures.

Sometimes the pictures start off normal.

But sometimes we just go crazy, and can't take normal pictures. 

 We all have different personalities

 But we love each other so so much!

 We also practice photo bombing when we can

Lizzy and Mary like doing random poses from different movies. 

Karis and I are waiting for them to start doing poses from Titanic. 

"Jack, I'm Flying" 

That line is way to cheesy.

But then again they are pretty cheesy characters.

Anyway, when we all get together it is always a good thing. 

Bathroom Buddy

I walked into my bathroom last night and saw something in our cats water dish...I look closer and I see that it's a little frog :)

This is my little froggy buddy. I'm trying to find him this morning. So either Charlie (our cat) ate him OR he is somewhere in our house.
